Nordpol Kro is from 1864 and has been run by the Bredesen family since the 60’s. The current owner has run the place since 1985. Nordpol Kro was the last tap and accommodation for Fridtjof Nansen before the FRAM 2 expedition continued towards the North Pole in 1889.
